On February 23-24 the first night of Fikret Amirov's '1001 Nights' ballet will take place in Cairo Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The ballet staged by Tahir Tahirov will be performed by actors of Cairo, Azerbaijan's State Opera and Ballet Theatre press service told the APA. Azerbaijani side received an appeal for staging the ballet in Cairo in 2006. The theatre also noted that the theatre has received an appeal for staging the ballet in Hungary too and it will be realized soon.
