The test results of resident of Azerbaijani region of Neftchala Zamina Zeynalova, who was suspected of contracting bird flu and died at the Scientific Institute of Lungs Diseases tonight, have been announced.
Zeynalova's samples have been examined in the Viral Laboratory of Health Ministry's Station against Plague and Agriculture Ministry’s Republic Veterinary Laboratory by PCR method. The examinations did not confirm Zamina Zeynalova to have died of bird flu. The patient was proved to have died of double-sided pneumonia, Health Ministry press service told the APA reports.
