Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

Adil Ismayilov, a lawyer to Zakir Nasirov presented the solicitation that demanded Baku Main Police Board chief Maharram Aliyev and Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov to give testimony to the court and to repeat the testimonies given to the investigation by Abuzer and Timur Abuzerov on the episode of Urvan Bagirov's kidnapping, Mejid Mammadov's son Hafiz Mammadov, Talat Mammadov, Ruslan Ikushov, Asger Isgenderov, the officers of BMPB Nizami Gasimov and Aydin Rzayev, criminalist Rovshan Aliyev's wife Irade Guliyeva.

Former deputy chief of Kapital Bank Administrative Staff, accused Elchin Aliyev solicited to repeat a part of Rauf Mammadov's testimony. Showing his attitude to the solicitation, lawyer Hezi Mammadov said that Zakir Garalov and Maharram Aliyev's testimonies are against the defense side.

"Zakir Garalov approved the act of accusation. I do not believe him to deny the accusation acts. There is no force in Azerbaijan to make Zakir Garalov come to court. If Maharram Aliyev proves what Javadaga Sultanov said in the court, it will be against the defense side," he said.

After the break, Judge Ali Seyfaliyev allowed Elchin Aliyev's solicitation fully, but Adil Ismayilov's partially.

Seyfaliyev said that testimonies given by Ruslan Ikushov, Asger Isgenderov, Tahire Ismayilova, Nasukhan Ramazanov and Yashar Babayev will be announced, and Yalukhan Iluyev and Ali Guliyev will be invited to the court as the witnesses. He said that in case that those people will not come to the court their testimonies will be announced.

Then, Ruslan Ikushov's testimony given in Sabayil Prosecutor's Office in 1998 on Chechen Shirkhan Albiyev's missing was announced.

The trial will be continued in the second part of the day, APA reports.
