Samad Aliyev, defense-lawyer for Mammadov told the APA the interrogation was conducted on Haji's testimony upon the trial related to so-called terrorist act attempt in Azerbaijan and defendant Aslanbek Kentamirov's testimony on Haji's leading an unarrested gang composed of Azerbaijani and Russian citizens.

The lawyer refused to make public Mammadov's testimonies given during the interrogation due to investigation secret.

The interrogations started on 18 September will last till 24 September.

Relevant investigative actions will be carried out on the criminal case on the murder of Monitor journal editor Elmar Huseynov.

The gang members, Aslanbek Kentamirov, Musa Dabuyev, Nizami Abdullayev, Farhad Mammadbayov and Malik Mammadov are being interrogated by the Prosecutor's Office.
