Chairman of the geoecology department of the Geology Institute of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences Elmira Aliyeva and head of department for CIS-analysis of geological and geophysical data Dadash Huseynov participated in the International Sedimentological congress in Fukuoka, Japan.
750 representatives from 59 countries partook in the congress. The representatives presented the results of four-year researches in the field of geological sedimentology. Mrs.Elmira Aliyeva said that Institute of Geology had done the important research concerning architectural building of hydrocarbon resources in the southern part of Caspian Sea. British Petroleum and US Civilian Research and Development Foundation have supported researches. /AzerTAg/
