A Sunday school for Azerbaijani children initiated by Finland-Azerbaijan Friendship Society has been opened in Helsinki, Finland.

School's director Arzu Muradli stated that the school aimed to teach Azerbaijani language, habits, history and culture of Azeri nation.

Twenty children will learn Azerbaijani language and literature, history and geography, culture and modern life. The Society is scheduled to open Sunday schools for adults, as well as Azerbaijani section in the National Library of Finland ( Helsinki University Library), State Committee on work with Azerbaijanis living abroad informed.
