Huseynov came to Najaf Ahmadov and his brother in Huseyn Javid avenue and argued with them. Then he fired a pistol at Ahmdov brothers wounding Najaf. He was hospitalized.
Run-away Huseynov was detained 20 minutes later in a joint operation held by the Baku Police Department Crime Investigation Office, State Traffic Police and Yasamal district police office. Huseynov admitted his hooliganism. Criminal case was launched under article 221.3 (hooliganism) of Criminal Code, Baku Police Department told the APA.

As coming to the media reports that Huseynov is relative of Baku Police Department deputy chief Yashar Aliyev, the Department refuted this report. It said Huseynov engaged in trade and the incident was due to dispute over money.
