In today's proceeding, public prosecutor solicited for Haji Mammadov's making clear the nuances regarding contradictions between his testimonies to the investigation and the testimonies upon the trial, APA reports.

Adil Ismayilov, defense-lawyer for Zakir Nasirov, former head of the Crime Investigation Department solicited for investigating all the testimonies given by Haji Mammadovas there are some contradicting nuances. The public prosecutor's solicitation was satisfied. But lawyer Adil Ismayilov’s petition was dismissed.

Hazi Mammadov, defense-lawyer for Aslanbek Kentamirov solicited for annulment of the Interior Ministry and substituting it with a intelligence service. He said the Interior Ministry's armed forces, Task Squad, emergency forces should be given to intelligence service and Interior Troops to the Justice Ministry. Hazi Mammadov demanded the court to appeal to President Ilham Aliyev for that. Judge Ali Seyfaliyev dismissed his petition.

Public prosecutor announced the nuances regarding contradictions between Mammadov's testimonies to the investigation and testimonies upon the trial and asked questions for making clear these issues. Haji Mammadov confirmed his testimonies upon the trial but not those given to the preliminary investigation.

"After my attempt to suicide in April, I got an injection in hospital. I was not conscious of what I said. The kidnapping of Zamira Hajiyeva had nothing to do with Kamil Sadraddinov. I did not care my words as I wanted to commit self-murder, therefore, accepted everything. I did not think that I would sit trial," Mammadov said.

Haji Mammadov refused to answer lawyer Adil Ismayilov's questions on this matter.
The trial will continue on 30 August.
