The officers of Kazakhstan's Batis Regional Border Office has detained an Azerbaijani boat for illegal fishing in the Kazakh section of the Caspian Sea.
There were eight Azerbaijanis in the boat named "Gafgaz". Over two tons of white sturgeon, 20 boxes of small fish and facilities for fishing were found on the boat. The investigation is underway. Azerbaijan's State Caspian Shipping Company's press secretary Vugar Sadigov said to the APA that the detained boat is private, "This boat does not belong to the Company".
