Within 5 months Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources implemented examinations in Velvelchay, Garachay (Guba-Khachmaz), Behramtepe-1, Behramtepe-2, Imishli, Shemkirchay (Shemkir), Lenkeranchay (Lenkeran), and Aghsu sand-gravel deposits.
The Ministry press service has told APA about that during the examinations in 26 quarries illegal exploitation works have been discovered. According to the damage to nature due to those quarries, claim amounting 58 400 AZN, was raised.
