Azerbaijan's film industry has been promoted at the 11th India International Film Tourism Conclave (IIFTC) held in Mumbai, Azernews reports citing the Culture Ministry. The event was attended by representatives of the Culture Ministry and the Azerbaijan Cinema Agency, as well as representatives from Turkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Spain, Slovakia, Norway and other countries. Azerbaijan was also represented by Filmlab.az, Filmbridge Azerbaijan, CNF and Ultra Production. This year's congress was especially memorable for our country. At the award ceremony for the year, Azerbaijan was declared the most popular filming location for directors and producers from India. In his speech, the founder and director of IIFTC Harshad Bhagwat emphasized that in recent years, Azerbaijan has become one of the most popular filming locations. The Azerbaijani delegation held a number of meetings to promote the country's culture, support the development of creative spheres, as well as international recognition of our film potential and attract foreign specialists to the development of the domestic film industry. The meetings included discussions on both film production in our country and joint film production. The implementation of various projects within the framework of the Creative Azerbaijan (Yarad?c? Az?rbaycan) program, which has been carried in the country over the past two years, and the involvement of foreign producers in filming in Azerbaijan are of great importance for the development of the local film industry.
