The Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency has discussed the action plan for 2023–2024 with the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC).
The virtual meeting of BSEC Working Group on Cooperation in Tourism was held under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan, Azernews reports.
Deputy Secretary General of the OSCE Dimitrios Rallis and Deputy Chief of Staff of the State Tourism Agency, Head of International Relations Department Jalil Malikov made opening speeches at the meeting.
The meeting participants exchanged views on topical issues related to the tourism sector and joint projects. The sides also approved a report document on the results of the meeting.
The next meeting of the BSEC Working Group on Cooperation on Tourism is scheduled for December, 2023.
The key priorities for BSEC activity in the field of tourism are defined by Goal 8 "Development of Tourism and Protection of Cultural Heritage" of the "BSEC Economic Agenda Towards an Enhanced BSEC Partnership", adopted in 2012.
