A grand forum on "No to Islamophobia" will be held in International Press Center tomorrow, APA informs.

According to Head of Religion Community of "Juma Mosque" Hajji Ilgar Ibrahimoglu, well-known public figures will attend the event and express their opinions.

Ilgar Ibrahimoglu says they have forwarded an appeal to Baku Mayor's Office and asked for authority to hold rally-meeting in front of old "Galaba" cinema on February 10 or 11.

According to him, if sanctioned, the action will start with rally from the front of "20 Yanvar" subway station and will be over with a picket at Galaba cinema: "We will make all possible attempts to express our protest."

But Islam Party chief Hajji Hajiaga Nuri told APA in his statement that their protest against the happenings will be severe. Party chief says a letter has already been sent to the Foreign Ministry: "We are looking forward to how the stance of the government will be. We will start protest actions afterward."

Press service of Caucasus Muslim Board told APA that, they call on Muslims to be far from radicalism and demonstrate loyalty to the high moral values of our holy religion.
