The idea to computerize schools and create an electron government was supported in the global forum organized by Microsoft in Lisbon, Portugal.

As ANS reports, in the meeting with Bill Gates, it was said that different buffer countries would contribute to construct private economical zones, that is, techno parks. Ayaz Bayramov, the head of International Relationship Department of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, says Baku may become regional center of Microsoft. Also bilateral meetings were held in the forum where 5 prime ministers and 15 ministers participated. Establishment of e-government was discussed in the meeting of Ali Abbasov, Minister of Communication and Information Technologies, with his Czech counterpart. Czechia, who possesses great experience, can contribute to Azerbaijan with specialists in this sphere.
