The government of Azerbaijan is to allocate about $7 million for implementation of the Program of the school building in Baku and the Apsheron peninsular.
The government in 2006 will have to assign around $2,2 million for the program implementation, the Azerbaijan Education Ministry told Trend. 18 new schools for 12,880 seats will be built in Baku and Apsheron at the result of this three-year program implementation. From them 10 schools for 9004 seats will be built in Baku and 8 schools for 3876 seats in Apsheron, the Ministry noted. Besides, construction of additional buildings for 65 schools with 39,380 seats is planned in Baku. In 2006-2008 construction of 5 more schools is projected in Baku on the account of the Saudi Development Fund.
