After the victory in the Commonwealth Cup, Neftchi remained without its top-scorer. Slovanian striker - Tomislav Mishura has left Neftchi without any reasons.

During the tournament, Mishura has already left Neftchi. This happened before quarterfinal match between Neftchi and Pakhtakor, when he asked the management to fly to his country in order to visit his ill uncle, promising to return in two days. Time passed, Neftchi defeated Pakhtakor and gained a place in the final, though Pyunik decided to retire. Mishura had much time to return, but the fans didn't see him in the final game against Kaunas, Azerifootball.com informs.

Now it became known that Tomislav Mishura doesn't want to return to Azerbaijan. He already told this to the management of his club. He said that he is going to stay in Slovenia and he has offers from Slovenian clubs. Neftchi requires the striker to return. If Mishura won't return, the club will ask a high price for his transfer.

The departure of Mishura has put the attack of Neftchi in a difficult position. Only two strikers are available in the squad of Neftchi - Nadir Nabiyev and Branimir Subashich. Georgi Adamiya can also play forward, but then Neftchi will have to sign a left midfielder.
