The Ministry of Education has begun implementation of the "Development program on rendering equipment to schools providing general education in Azerbaijan Republic" covering period of 2005-2009.
According to the information given to APA from the ministry, in the framework of the program the Baku European Lyceum, lyceums with Physical-Mathematical, Informatics and Chemical-Biological bias, Elite Gymnasia named after I.Afandiyev, Gymnasia of the Humanities named after S.Pisheveri, Foreign Languages biased Lyceum named after S.Bahlulzade, schools providing general education # 53 in Yasamal region and # 49 in Sabayel region were already provided with new educational equipment – desks, chairs, blackboards and student desks. The program is designed to provide about 30 schools with new equipment till the end of this year. APA
