Iranian citizens sentenced to imprisonment for committing crime in Azerbaijan will be returned to their country in these days.
There are 60 such prisoners serving their sentences in prison of Azerbaijan at present.
APA was informed about it from sources in law-enforcement bodies. According to the information of the source, an agreement was reached between the sides in this connection.
The source also added that there are no Azerbaijani citizens in prisons of Iran at present: “Several Azerbaijani citizens who committed insignificant crimes already served their sentences and were released”.
