42 thousand persons migrated to Azerbaijan during 1995-2004.
The Agency Trend reports, the Ministry of Labor and social protection of Azerbaijan informed about this.
According to information of the ministry, 98% of all migrated persons are migrants from CIS. 55% originate from Russia, 11% - from Georgia, 9%- from Ukraine, and balance are migrants from other states of the former Soviet Union.
For 1995-2004 number of emigrants from Azerbaijan was 90.836 persons, 84.423 persons from this number migrated to CIS, 70.500 persons- to Russia, and 4.970 persons - to Ukraine and other persons- to different states. 4.263 persons emigrated from Azerbaijan to Israel for last 9 years. Number of emigrated persons of Azerbaijan in the beginning of 90th was 137.980 persons, the ministry informed.
