Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism reported that the first half of 2013 saw 272,000 Azerbaijanis visit Turkey, AzerTag state news agency reported.
According to Turkish media reports, a total of 16,995,000 tourists visited the country in the first six months of the year.
The highest flow of tourists came from Germany, while Russians, the British, and Georgians ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
