Holiday concert and salute were arranged related to the next anniversary of the come to the power of the founder of modern Azerbaijan, National leader Heydar Aliyev in the National park near the clock tower at 21:00, on July 14.
In July, 1969, during Central Committee's (CC) plenum Heydar Aliyev was elected the first secretary of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan and became the head of the Republic.
