Chairman of the Anglo-Azerbaijani Society, Rt. Hon. Lord Fraser of Carmyllie, QC, has passed away.
Azerbaijani co-chair of the Society, professor Nargiz Pashayeva, has expressed her condolences over the death of Lord Fraser.
She said Lord Fraser was a true friend of Azerbaijan. “He made an outstanding contribution to expanding the cultural and humanitarian contacts between our countries and people during his tenure as the co-chair,” Mrs. Pashayeva said.
She added the Society would remain committed to traditions founded by Lord Fraser.
