UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova, NATO Deputy Secretary General Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and regional director of the World Tourism Organization for the Middle East Amr Abdul Ghafar will visit Azerbaijan to participate in the second World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, according to a statement posted on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

The Forum will take place in Baku on May 29 - June 1 with the slogan "Peaceful coexistence in multicultural world" under the auspices of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The main partners of the forum are UNESCO, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the Council of Europe, ISESCO and the UN World Tourism Organization.

Given that Azerbaijan is located at the crossroads of East and West and different cultures, the first Ministerial Conference of the World Forum will be held within the event.

The forum will be attended by the heads of international organizations, current and former presidents of several countries, ministers of more than 100 countries, experts and others.

The forum is held every two years in Baku by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
