Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) will officially present its “Building Safe and Resilient Communities” project.
The project receives technical support from the Austrian Red Cross (ARC) and financial support from the Austrian Development Agency.
ARCS and ARC reached agreement to implement the three-year project last December.
The aim of the project is to prepare beforehand people in the targeted remote and disaster prone villages as well as people in Zagatala and Ismayilli cities to disasters and risks.
During the implementation of the project vulnerability and capacity assessment will be done with six villages and two towns.
