Azerbaijani scientist, head of the mining chair in Sverdlovsk Mining Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor Niyaz Veliyev was named “Professor of the year”.
Azerbaijani Consul General in Yekaterinburg Sultan Gasimov also participated in the awards ceremony.
The awards were presented by Yakov Silin, Vice-Governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast.
