29 January 2013 [17:14] - Today.Az
The
prestigious German news and political magazine "Focus" published an article "International law is violated" fuguring out Armenia's
disobeyance of the resolutions of international organizations.
"President Sargsyan likes to play chess, and not only on the board," edition notes. Armenia has been involved in the occupation of the Azerbaijani territories, the magazine says, emphasizing that violent
ethnic cleansing and hundreds of
thousands of refugees are reported by the observers.
The
UN Security Council in the four resolutions demanded the withdrawal of Armenian troops,
but President Serzh Sargsyan ignores these requirements, "Focus" reports.
According
to the newspaper, now the head of the GSPD, Sigmar Gabriel, complains
that the UN resolutions are not enforced, and head of the European Parliament Martin Schulz demands from the European Union to show
"a more active role."
Azerbaijan owns one of the largest
gas fields in the world, and the country could reduce Europe's
dependence on other supplier countries, Economy Minister Philipp Roesler stresses in his turn.
German
magazine concludes that if the
EU strives to instruct Armenia on
the right path, it would increase
the gas supply from Azerbaijan.
"Focus" is the weekly information-political magazine of Germany,
which is published since 1993. For
several years, the journal has conquered
popularity among the readers and yields only to "Der Spiegel"
information and news magazine in Germany.
