There was published a list of names, which most frequently called newborns in Azerbaijan, in the beginning of 2013.

30 boys born in January were named Ali. Huseyn (26),  Muhammed (26), Yusif (25), Aykhan (22), Omar (18), Murad (17), Rasul (10) and other names continue the list, Justice Ministry reported.

Girls born in the same month were mostly named Zahra. 34 new born girls got the mentioned name. List keeps on with Fatima (31), Aylin (23), Nuray (21), Ayan (23), Nuray (21), Xadija (21).
