Ganja Shah Abbas Caravanserai is one of the unique ancient historical artifacts of Azerbaijani architecture.
The capital repairs of this historical roadside inn of 17th century have discovered more ancient layers. Together with the lighting and ventilation systems, dischargers, a boiler was found which was working in the corner.
Boiler discovered during complete overhaul was built underground 4 centuries prior serving for heating of the Caravanserai rooms, head of the culture and tourism department of Ganja Sanan Hajiyev said.
