Application admission for the PhD student programs in scientific organizations under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and outside it (excepting the Ministry of Education) was announced, first vice-president of ANAS Arif Hashimov said.
According to him, the order on document admission has been submitted by ANAS presidium and will be published in “Elm” newspaper on August 30.
Hashimov said that according to the decision passed by the Cabinet of Ministers, 288 places were offered to ANAS for PhD program and 189 places to other scientific organizations: “The admission on doctorate program hasn’t been announced yet. The admission on doctor of science program won’t be started till some issues are not settled. We will release additional information on this issue”.
PhD application admission under the ANAS will start from September 1 and continue within a month. The admission exams are planned to be held in October.
