The fines for traffic violations by  pedestrian-offenders will be increased in Azerbaijan. The relevant paragraph will be included in the Code of Administrative Violations, the Azerbaijani Parliament reported.
 
Under the changes, pedestrians violating the traffic rules when crossing the road or railway crossing will be penalized in the amount of 20 manats. Currently, the penalty is 10 manat. The bill will be discussed at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy and State Building on Friday.
