The Trade Union Confederation of Azerbaijan demanded increase of salaries of education workers, the confederation’s chairman Sattar Mehbaliyev told APA.
He said the issue was discussed with the trade union committee of education workers and the ministry of education.
He said a large amount of resources has been allocated for the education sphere from the state budget in the last six years. It includes not only the improvement of material-technical basis, but also increase of salaries.
