An emergency situation occurred at the Baku Metro at about 4 pm today, eyewitness reported. A smoke was observed inside a number of cars. The passengers were quickly evacuated.
Baku Metro chief engineer Etibar Isayev confirmed the fact. “A technical problem occurred in the train when it was on the Ulduz Station. Passengers were asked to leave the cars. The train was sent to the depot and work is underway to found the causes,” he said.
