The value of bilateral trade between Iran and Turkey reached $5 billion in 2009, Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI) reported.

Iran-Turkey trade valued at $4,921,780,000 in January-November 2009, the report read.

During the mentioned period Iran's exports to and imports from Turkey reached $3,124,418,000 and $797,362,000 respectively.

In November 2009, Iran-Turkey trade increased to $634,052,000 from $523.6 million in November 2008.

In the same month, Iran has exported $448,253,000 of various products to Turkey and imported $170,320,000 of products from the neighboring country.
