The number of people running for president of Georgia has increased to 22 people.
As the Georgian Central Election Commission reported on Tuesday, in the past two days, 10 more candidates were added to 12 candidates who have already submitted their applications for participating in presidential company.

They are: Gia Chkhikvadze Levan Chachua, Merab Suliashvili, Besik Adam, Avtandil Margiani Avtandil Pilauri Avtandil Ioseliani, Mamuka GAMelikishvili, Nugzar Avaliani and Teimuraz Bobokhidze, which were presented by initiative groups.

The previously registered applicants are: Mikheill Saluashvili - an initiative group; Tariel Khvedelidze- an initiative group; Nestan Kirtadze - an initiative group; George Gahokiya - an information group; Shalva Natelashvili - Labour Party; Mamuka Chokhonelidze - an initiative group; Nikoloz Gorgidzhinadze -an initiative group; Giorgi Targamadze- Christian Democratic Movement; Sergo Javakhidze -"For Fair Georgia" party; Giorgi Chikhladze - an initiative group and Giorgi Khachapuridze - an initiative group.
