After the incident with Syrian plane Turkey decided to change the routes of some flights and stopped flights through Syrian airspace, TRT Haber channel reported.

Turkish air force F-16 fighter jets recently forced a Syrian Airbus A-320, which was flying from Moscow to Damask with 35 passengers on board, to land in Ankara airport. Military freight on the board was supposed be the reason behind this action.

A search on board the Syrian plane lasted approximately five hours. As a result, the Turkish side stated that details to radio stations used for military purposes have been found.

Turkey gave permission for the plane's departure, but seized the freight discovered on board.
