Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Sergey Lebedev, chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, executive secretary and head of the organization's observation mission on Friday. Lebedev said his mission consists of 352 observers. He praised the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan.
For his part, Mammadyarov expressed confidence that parliamentary elections in the country would be held successfully. The sides also exchanged views on bilateral, regional and other issues of mutual interest.
