PACE President Movlud Chavushoglu has held a press conference in connection with the spring session of the organization.
In response to a question about his visit to Baku, Chavushoglu noted that he had discussed the issues on political imprisonments and arrested journalists in Baku.
“I am waiting for a positive answer on this issue as well. I spoke about it during the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev”.
Speaking about the activities of the Sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Chavushoglu said that he would discuss it with both heads of delegations of the two countries: “I will personally lead this Sub-committee as PACE President, after the composition of the Sub-committee is appointed.”
