“Election Code of Azerbaijan has been coordinated with Europe standards and Azerbaijani society is ready to hold elections meeting world standards”, said Chief of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov while delivering speech at the international conference on “2010 Parliamentary Elections in Azerbaijan: more democratic and more transparent”.
Hasanov said that election atmosphere, socio-political state in Azerbaijan gives opportunity to say this.
“We have always heard three main principles of democratic elections - a right to elect and to be elected, equal election atmosphere and transparent election proces. All these are ensured in Azerbaijan completely," he added.
