Visiting Speaker of the Azerbaijan Parliament Ogtay Asadov met here Sunday with Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki to discuss bilateral ties.
“Iran-Azerbaijan relations are developing in all fields,” Mottaki said at the meeting.
Asadov noted existing opportunities must be effectively used in order to take Azerbaijan-Iran relationship forward.
Discussion at the meeting also revolved around peace talks on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, regional issues, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and other issues.
