Election commissions in Azerbaijan will be re-formed after the parliamentary elections, member of the parliament from ruling New Azerbaijan Party Siyavush Novruzov said during discussions of lawmaking plan at the spring session of the parliament.
Reacting to the MP Ikram Israfil’s proposal to amend Electoral Code and to re-form the election commissions, Novruzov said composition of the election commissions would be changed after the new parliamentary elections.
He said it would depend on extent the parties will be represented in the parliament.
After the discussions, the lawmaking plan of the spring session was put to vote and approved.
