President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met CEO of Edison Umberto Quadrino in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 27.
It was noted Azerbaijan and Italy enjoy good cooperation in all spheres, in particular, energy one.
Quadrino said his Company was interested in carrying out a new project – Turkey-Greece-Italy gas pipeline, adding there is good prospects for it.
President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, said Azerbaijan supports the project which is important in terms of diversification of energy transport routes.
