“I hope the co-chairs will be able to achieve progress in resolving the Nagono-Karabakh conflict during the current visit," said Public Affairs Officer of U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Terry Davidson.
Note that OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Ambassador Bernard Fassier (France), Ambassador Robert Bradtke (the United States) are expected to have meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Dec. 11.
The mediators will visit only Azerbaijan this time and will not visit Armenia as Armenian leadership is not in the country at present.
