Azerbaijani embassy in the United Kingdom said heads of over 100 leading companies representing Eastern and Central Europe, Baltic states, Central Asia and South Caucasus participated Oxford Summit of Leaders organized by the Europe Business Assembly.
The summit was supported by Syngenta company, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce and the University of Reading.
Heads of a number of companies were awarded at the summit.
CEO of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Jahangir Hajiyev was awarded Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal. He is awarded for successful business activity and maintaining business values.
CEO of the International Bank of Azerbaijan was awarded for the implementation of successful economic and social programs, initiatives for representing the country in the international arena and those concerning charity.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to the UK Fakhraddin Gurbanov spoke about the measures taken to ensure the country’s economic growth and sustainable economic development and noted that the award confirms these achievements.
