As part of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's visit to Iran's Mazandaran province the Iranian Armed Forces held military exercises on the Caspian Sea with the participation of students of the Imam Khomeini Military Lyceum in the Noshehr city on Oct. 7, ILNA reported.
The exercises aimed to improve soldiers' skills, combat and psychological readiness.
The exercises were held with the participation of paratroopers and divers, by using ships and boats, guns, heavy caliber weapons, armor and military equipment.
Under the Sina project, the exercises on the Caspian Sea were also involved the Deravsh frigate.
Ayatollah Khamenei arrived in the Iranian province of Mazandaran on a two-day visit on Oct. 6.
