"Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM and the OSCE will intensify cooperation in combating organized crime and border cooperation.
The agreement was reached in Kiev at a meeting between the OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili, the GUAM Secretariat said.
The parties agreed to intensify contacts between experts of the two secretariats.
The GUAM was established for regional cooperation in 1997 during a summit of presidents of European Union countries. The organization was inactive till 2005.
