Turkish MP Canan Aritman urged prime minister to keep promise given to Azerbaijan concerning not opening of borders with Armenia until Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is resolved.

Aritman said Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan will face large-scale protest actions once he arrives in Turkey to watch a football match between Turkish and Armenia teams.

The MP condemned Turkish authorities’ steps to establish diplomatic ties with Armenia adding that it will harm relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
