The bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are successfully development and are comprehensive, said Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin Wednesday at the meeting with speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Oqtay Asadov, according to the press service for Milli Medjlis.
According to the diplomat, the ties between our countries are not limited by the political and economic spheres and also cover humanitarian, cultural and educational spheres.
Asadov said bilateral Azerbaijani-Russian relations have deep roots, noting that mutual visits of the heads of states promote strengthening of existing ties. The speaker voiced confidence that the recent talks between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, held during the recent visit of Ilham Aliyev to Moscow will promote the development of bilateral ties.
The Milli Medjlis chairman voiced hope that Russia will continue efforts aimed at the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
