President Barack Obama phoned Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev yesterday, President’s press service told APA.
During the sincere conversation the presidents expressed their
satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-US relations. The heads
of states discussed the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,
energy cooperation and regional security. Barack Obama spoke about the
steps taken by the United States concerning Turkey-Armenia relations,
Azerbaijani President expressed the position of Azerbaijani state on
the issue to President Obama. The presidents also exchanged views on a
number of other issues of mutual interest.
