"No one has a right to ask Turkey why it defends its own interests", said Sinan Ogan, chairman of the Turkish association on international relations and strategic analysis.

"The Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are not only the relations between the two countries. The priorities and interests of our countries mostly coincide. Turkey supports Baku until our interests coincide", noted Sinan Ogan.

"In these conditions Turkey initiated new relations to attain peace in the region at the cost of its interests. President of Turkey Abdullah Gul went to Yerevan on September 6 for this very purpose", said Ogan.

At the same time, he noted that Turkey wants peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

"We are not enemies with Armenia. For this reason Turkey does not intend to exclude Armenia from any project. If there is peace in the region, Armenia can, certainly, take part in all regional projects, including energy ones. It can also be included into the Nabucco project. Everything is in Armenia's hands", said the Turkish expert.
