The society "For Azerbaijan", functioning in Sweden, has released a statement on the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan, said the press service for the State Committee for Azerbaijanis, residing abroad.
The statement says that Ilham Aliyev, who is a follower of the principles of state construction of Heydar Aliyev, attained definite results during the term of his presidency in 2003-2009 and Azerbaijan's influence on the international arena grew significantly and the country has become a leader in the region.
"Azerbaijan enjoys the dynamic development in all spheres, attains success in social, economic, scientific, cultural and other spheres, which is a result of reforms, held under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev. Azerbaijan plays an irreplaceable role in the system of the European energy security", says the statement.
The document fixes that the society "For Azerbaijan" fully supports working president Ilham Aliyev and calls on the Azerbaijani citizens to vote for him at the upcoming elections on October 15.
